Indianapolis, IN | Laura Ely, #09 Black Sheep Racing, wins the 2022 Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West GT3 Cup 991 Championship. Ely and the USA West 991 class put on the most fierce championship battle with first place changing hands every weekend between Ely and Nemschoff. In the end, Ely was able to triumph and finish the season with 583 championship points and a 10-point gap over Nemschoff. Laura Ely had a remarkable 2022 season with a total of six (6) race victories and four (4) 2nd place finishes. Notable wins for Ely include the sweeps of Sonoma and COTA.
