INDIANAPOLIS, IN | Porsche Sprint Challenge by Yokohama gears up for its return to the world famous, Sebring International Raceway, to kick off its second season of the one-make series. After a successful and competitive 2021 season, Porsche Sprint Challenge continues their strong growth and will be returning with 58 entries for the Sebring opener, marking a nearly 100% increase from 2021.

Due to this unprecedented growth, series officials made the call late last season to split out the Cayman class into its own championship for 2022 and is leading off with 24 entries for the opener. The GT3 Cup classes will be combined into their own multi-class group with 34 starters; 15 in the 992 class and 19 for the 991 class.

The action will get underway Saturday, March 12th with the Cayman class hitting the track at 8:00am and the GT3 class following at 8:40am for their first practice sessions of the year. Follow along all weekend with live timing and broadcast available on FloRacing and porschesprint.com

Usac To Offer Cutting Edge Timing Scoring Product 2

INDIANAPOLIS, IN | In preparation for the approaching 2022 Porsche Sprint Challenge Season, USAC has made significant investments in a cutting-edge, real-time GPS platform and personnel to enhance the standard Timing & Scoring programs. This platform makes data available to each team, arming them with new tools to develop drivers and hone their race craft. This season will see the utilization of newly released hardware from MyLaps and other USAC partners. Expect live in-race GPS tracking, increased number of track sectors, advanced post-session reporting and analytics, and a significant enhancement to the live stream broadcast.

Teams can take advantage of the data both during each session via rMonitor or multi-loop protocols and post-session with detailed races results lap-by-lap in an easily digestible format.

As USAC continues to lead the industry in making data and technology available at all levels of motorsport, we look forward to an exciting and competitive 2022 season.
