Gravois Mills, MO | Aidan Kenny claimed Pole Position for the first ever professional race to be held at Ozarks International Raceway. 17 drivers took to the challenging, yet rewarding course for the very first qualification session in the track’s history. The 30 minute qualification saw a full green flag session with Kenny and Krainz fighting for the pole. Up next is Race 1, the very first professional race to be held at the start of the art Ozark International Raceway. Race 1 at Ozarks will take place later today at 3:00 pm CST and will be live streamed via Race. Race 2 of the weekend tomorrow will also be live streamed via Race Control at 10:50 am CST.

Sonoma, CA | The Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West Series took to the track at Sonoma Raceway one final time for Race 2 of 2 for the weekend. Race 2 at Sonoma saw perfect track conditions for all three Porsche classes of GT3 Cup 992, GT3 Cup 991, and Cayman to go racing. The 35 minute sprint race was filled with non-stop action and only a single full course yellow. Once again, Laura Ely and Paul Nemschoff were fighting back and forth all race for the top position in the GT3 Cup 991 class. Ultimately Ely was able to pull away and sweep the weekend for the GT3 Cup 991 class in addition to also winning the Apex award for Race 2. Chris Bellomo also put on another dominant performance in the GT3 Cup 992 class to secure back-to-back wins this weekend. Lastly, Michael Gaulke won the Cayman class yet again to move to a perfect 4 of 4 on race wins this season.

Sonoma, CA | The track was wet, but the sun was shining as the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West took to the track for qualifications. Drivers battled the wet track conditions for a 35 qualification session that came down to the wire. Kyle Washington was able to come away winning the pole for the GT3 Cup 992 class. Laura Ely on the last lap of the session was able to capture pole position for the GT3 Cup 991 class. Neither of the two Cayman entities took to the track this morning. Race 1 will be live streamed through Race Control at 1:10 pm PST.

Sonoma, CA | Round 2 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West visits Sonoma Raceway this weekend. Sonoma features 2.52 miles of evaluation changing racing over 12 turns. This weekend showcases 11 entries representing 5 different USA West teams. Both Races from Sonoma will be livestream on the Porsche Sprint Race Control. Practice 1 and 2 were held today under perfect conditions with dominant performances from Chris Bellomo from the GT3 Cup 992 class, Paul Nemschoff in the GT3 Cup 991 class, and Cayman class point leader Michael Gaulke.
Porsche Sports Car Together Fest celebrates performance models at Indianapolis
World’s largest gathering of GT Cars; one-make racing and off-track activities for the whole family and fans of all ages highlight Labor Day
Atlanta. Porsche will return to Indianapolis over the Labor Day weekend to celebrate its long history of performance road and race cars, along with trackside activities for families and fans of all ages. The Sports Car Together Fest, the second annual marquee event at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) by Porsche, will highlight the German sports car manufacturer’s highest performance models: the GT line of road cars as well as its top one-make race series. Punctuating the September 2
– 4 event is what is expected to be the world’s largest gathering of Porsche GT cars and a spotlight on the 50th anniversary of the RS model. While the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by the Cayman Islands will headline the racing action on the track, multiple aspects of the Porsche automotive and sports culture will entertain and educate Porsche fans and casual attendees alike at the three-day end of summer event.

Short for Rennsport, the German word for “racing”, the first RS model, the 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2022. Then, as now, the Porsche race car was directly based on the production road car. The anniversary is being recognized around the world as the birthday of the most revered vintage machines of the iconic 911 line. Porsche will have several displays to highlight this five- decade tradition at Indianapolis.
Multiple activities await visitors to the Porsche Sports Car Together Fest. In addition to the golden anniversary celebration of the RS model line, Sports Car Together Fest will play host to multiple activities off the track as well.
World’s largest gathering of Porsche GT cars. A special exhibition area dedicated to what is expected to be the largest gathering of highest performance models developed by Porsche.
Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge. For the second consecutive year, Porsche dealerships are invited to return a beloved Porsche sports car from the 1950s to 2000s back to its original glory.
Esports Championship. While the premiere Porsche one-make series battles wheel-to-wheel outside, the competition heats up in the virtual world inside. Additional details on the Porsche eSports championship are forthcoming and will be released alongside future Porsche Sports Car Together Fest announcements.
Lifestyle. The Porsche Sports Car Together Fest doesn’t only revolve around the car culture, it is a family-focused weekend. Porsche-centric events, programs, activities and displays around the facility include artists creating themed works, health and wellness activities for the entire family to participate in and more. Bringing in aspects of its sports and lifestyle experiences, Sports Car Together Fest is an event the entire family and fans of all ages can enjoy.
Nearly non-stop activity will entertain the competition-minded visitors to The Speedway. The 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course of the legendary facility – incorporating parts of the oval made famous by the Indianapolis 500 – will be used for all on-track sessions. In addition to Rounds 13 and 14 of the 16-race Porsche Carrera Cup North America Presented by the Cayman Islands season, the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama, Porsche Club of America (PCA) sports car racing and time attack events will provide the die-hard Indiana motorsport fans with intense Porsche-against-Porsche GT car racing.

Laguna Seca, CA | The inaugural event of the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West took place at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this past weekend. Round 1 of the 2022 Championship saw 19 entries representing 8 teams attacking to the 2.238 mile, 11 turn circuit under ideal and sunny weather conditions for two races. The weekend featured Kelly Moss’s Kay Van Berlo winning pole position in the 992 class in addition to coming away victorious in both races. In the Cayman class, a similar story unfolded with Micheal Gaulke winning pole and earning back-to-back wins in both races to also leave the weekend with a strong lead in the Championship standings for the Flying Lizards squad. Lastly, in the 991 class, Paul Nemschoff of Flying Lizards was first to cross the stripe in Race 1, while Sam Parnagian claimed the Race 2 victory for his BR Racing team.

The second race of this opening round saw a full green flag 35 minute race. Race 2 saw Van Berlo sweeping the weekend with his second victory in the GT3 Cup 992 class in addition to Micheal Gaulke winning back-to-back races in the Cayman class. For the GT3 Cup 991 class we saw the new face of Parnagian on top of the podium winning Race 2.

Laguna Seca, CA | The Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West kicked off its inaugural season with a 40 minute sprint with the three classes of GT3 Cup 992, GT3 Cup 991, and Cayman sharing the track together. The race was highlighted by the GT3 Cup 992 victory by Van Berlo, GT3 Cup 991 by Nemschoff, and the Cayman victory of Galke. It is important to note the GT3 Cup 991 performance of King who spun out in both practices and qualifying, but was able to turn things around to end up on the podium.
