Plymouth, WI | The largest Race Weekend in the history of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America has come to a thrilling conclusion. 40 GT3 Cup entries and 27 Cayman entries is the largest field to ever take to the track in the two year history of the series. 4 practice sessions and 4 races took place over the span of the weekend. Road America was highlighted by the battle of a former and aspiring GT3 Cup 992 champion and marked the first career victory for a young rising star.

Race 2 for the North American Cayman class was won by Elias de La Torre making it his first career victory in just his 2nd ever professional race with the series. Coming in a close 2nd place was Kenny who battled de La Torre all race long. Rounding up the North American Cayman podium was McAuliffe with a 3rd place finish finding himself on the podium for the first time this season. On the USA West Cayman side of things, Paul Bonderson sweeps the weekend with a P18 overall finish today.

A battle between the former North American GT3 Cup 992 champion, Grant Talkie, and aspiring 992 champion, Carazo, took place yet again. This time around, Talkie found himself victorious and took P1 Overall. The Kelly Moss teammates of Carazo and Metni rounded out the podium taking P2 Overall & P4 Overall. For the USA West GT3 Cup 992, Chris Bellomo was able to sweep the weekend by taking P18 Overall.

In the North American GT3 Cup 991 class Jimmy Llibre expanded his championship lead by sweeping this weekend and placing P3 Overall in Race 2. Taking 2nd place in the 991 class was Levitas who took P6 Overall. Taking the last spot on the podium was once again the Cinderella story of Zdanis who finally found himself on the podium by taking P7 overall. The USA West GT3 Cup 991 class was won by Paul Nemschoff who took 2nd in the class yesterday and placed P10 Overall today. Taking 2nd in the class was Ely who took P13 Overall. Rounding out the USA West GT3 Cup 991 podium was once again McInnes taking P19 Overall.

Plymouth, WI | The largest field in the history of the Porsche Sprint Challenge kicked off the race weekend with 2 of 4 races being held today. 67 entries marks the largest field in the young two year history of the series. Over 1,000 Yokohama Advan tires will be used this weekend, and 88 barrels of VP Fuel, or approximately 5,000 gallons of fuel, have been dispersed throughout the paddock.

Race 1 for the North American Cayman class was won by Aidan Kenny who started the race in P2 and battled his way to find himself on top of the podium. Finishing in 2nd place in his Porsche Sprint Challenge debut was de La Torre IV in an impressive first drive with the series. Rounding out the North American Cayman Podium in 3rd place was Krainz. Standing alone on top of the USA West Cayman podium was Paul Bonderson.

In the North America GT3 992 class a fierce battle took place between Sebastian Carzao and Grant Talkie. Talkie led most of the race while Carazo ran in 2nd until late in the race when Carazo was able to overtake Talkie and claim victory in Race 1 and P1 overall. Talkie came in 2nd place and P2 Overall. Following him was the fellow Kelly Moss car of Metni who found himself on the podium by taking P3 overall. On the USA West side of things Chris Bellomo stood alone on top of the podium alone and took P35 Overall.

In the North America GT3 991 class Jimmy Llibre went from start to finish with the class lead and took P5 overall. In 2nd place for the class was Levitas who took P6 Overall. Rounding out the podium was the Cinderella story of Zdanis who finally found himself on the podium by taking P7 overall. The USA West 991 GT3 Cup class was won by Laura Ely who had a last lap pass to win the class and take P11 overall. Taking 2nd place in the class was Nemschoff who had led most of the race for the class, but ended up taking P14 overall. Wrapping up the USA West podium was McInnes who took P18 overall.

Plymouth, WI | The largest Porsche Sprint Challenge North America event to be held this weekend at Road America. 67 entries (40 GT3 Cup & 27 Cayman) marks the largest event in the two year history of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. 88 barrels of VP Fuel have been distributed throughout the paddock which is nearly 5,000 gallons of fuel and over 1,000 Yokohama Advan tires will be run this weekend. Four practice sessions were held over the course of the day today. Qualifying will take place tomorrow morning followed by the first Cayman Race at 2:30 pm CST and GT3 Cup Race 1 will take place at 4:25 pm CST. Sunday will hold the final two races of the weekend with Cayman Race 2 at 8:35 am CST followed by GT3 Cup Race 2 at 12:05 pm CST. As always, all four races this weekend will be livestream on FloSports and Youtube.

Lexington, OH| Rounds 7 & 8 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America saw the series take to Mid-Ohio on Fourth of July Weekend. Race 2 this weekend took place this morning as the support race for IndyCar and The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the All-New 2023 Civic Type R. Sebastian Carazo once again found himself winning the 992 GT3 Cup class and placing P1 Overall with a best lap time of 1:24.769. His teammate Castro took second in the class and P2 Overall with a best lap time of 1:24.602. Rounding out the 992 podium was Kvamme who took P3 Overall with a best lap time of 1:25.069. TJ Fisher once again won the 991 GT3 Cup class and took P4 Overall with a best lap time of 1:25.622. In second place was Llibre who took P5 overall with a best lap time of 1:25.696. Wrapping up the 991 podium was Levitas who took P6 Overall with a best lap time of 1:26.359. Up next for the series is Rounds 9 & 10 at Road America July 29th – 31st.

Lexington, OH| Sebastian Carazo kicks off the Fourth of July weekend by winning the Round 7 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. Carazo placed first overall in the race and won the 992 GT3 Cup class. Carazo had a best lap time of 1:25.324, following him in 2nd place and P2 Overall was his teammate Castro who had a best lap time of 1:25.646. Rounding out the podium coming in 3rd place was Kvamme with a best lap time of 1:26.326. For the 991 GT3 Cup class TJ Fischer came home to win the class and take P3 Overall with a best lap time of 1:26.576. Llbire took 2nd in the class and P4 Overall with a best lap time 1:26.296. Completing the podium in the class was Kezman who took P7 overall with a best lap time of 1:27.342. Race 2 of the weeking will happen tomorrow morning at 8:30 am EST right before The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the All-New 2023 Civic Type R.

Lexington, OH| Fourth of July weekend finds Porsche Sprint Challenge North America racing support for IndyCar at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the All-New 2023 Civic Type R. Mid-Ohio will feature Rounds 7 & 8 Porsche Sprint Challenge North America with only the GT3 Cup class racing this weekend. Alton, VA | Porsche Sprint Challenge North America and Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West wrapped off a successful weekend full of racing at Virginia International Raceway. A total of 5 races took place this weekend which left us with 10 podiums between the two series.

Race two for the North American Cayman class was won by Aidan Kenny who had an excellent turn around from a DNF yesterday. Taking 2nd in the Cayman was Weir of MDK Motorsports following his Cayman win yesterday. Wrapping up the North American Podium was Smith who also took 3rd place overall. The USA West Cayman class was won by Paul Bonderson who took 17th overall followed by the 2nd place finisher of Gaulke who took 20th overall. Flying Lizard Motorsports swept the podium in the USA West Cayman class.

In the North American GT3 Cup 992 class Sebastian Carazo raced his way to victory finishing P1 overall for the GT3 Cup Race. Coming in 2nd place for the North America 992 class was Castro who took 3rd place overall. Wrapping up the podium for the class was Uretsky who finished 5th overall. On the USA West side of the class was Chris Bellomo who won that class and finished 6th overall.

The North American GT3 Cup 991 class one once again by TJ Fischer who secured his 2nd victory of the weekend. Fischer placed 2nd overall. Taking 2nd in the North American GT3 Cup 991 class was Llibre who also took 4th overall. Rounding out the podium for the 991 class was Bloom who placed 8th overall. The USA West GT3 Cup 991 class was won by Laura Ely who placed 10th overall. Finishing in a close 2nd was Nemschoff who placed 11th overall. He was followed by King who took 3rd in the class and finished 16th overall.

The Yokohama Apex award was won by William Tally. The Yokohama Apex award is given to the driver that passes the most cars during the span of the racing session.

Alton, VA | Round 3 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America took place today at Virginia International Raceway. VIR features 17 turns for a total of 3.27 miles through the beautiful Virginia hills. This weekend features 4 races with two of them occurring today.

The GT3 Cup featured a mixture of 992 and 991 cup cars racing against each other in a single field. Efrin Castro claimed victory in the North America 992 class and finished 2nd overall with a 1.768 gap over 2nd place finisher Uretsky. Uretsky who took 2nd in the 992 class also took 3rd overall. Rounding out the North American 992 class podium was Chris Bellomo who took 5th overall.

On the USA West GT3 Cup side of the series stood Chris Bellomo who won the 992 class. The USA West 991 class was won by Paul Nemschoff who also finished 7th overall. Taking 2nd was Ely who finished 16th overall. Finishing up the podium in the 991 class was King who took 21st overall.

The North America Cayman saw a new face atop the podium with Christian Weir winning Round 5. In 2nd place was Smith followed by Eyme taking 3rd.

Alton, VA | After nearly a month the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America returns for Rounds 5 & 6 at Virginia International Raceway. VIR features 17 turns for a total of 3.27 miles through the beautiful Virginia hills. This weekend features 4 races with the addition of a 5th race to make-up for the canceled Cayman Round 4, which took place this evening. This weekend features 24 Cayman entries and 29 GT3 Cup entries. Two separate practice sessions were held for each class through the course of the day.

In the Round 4 Ozark make-up race Aidan Kenny started on pole and lead from the start of the race to finish in domaine fashion, Kenny finished the race with a comfortable gap of 12.659 seconds to the 2nd place finisher of Mark Smith who finished 2.604 seconds ahead of his teammate Nick Iarossi, the third place finisher. Kenny, Smith, and Iarossi complete a W2W Racing sweep of the podium once again.

Indianapolis, IN | After winning both Porsche Sprint Challenge North America races at the Miami GP Jimmy Llibre is awarded yet again, this time with the honor of meeting the President of the Dominican Republic. Yesterday, Llibre met with Dominican Republic President, Luis Abinader, in the nation’s capital of Santo Domingo. Llibre can be seen photographed with the president holding his 1st place trophy and medals from the winning of two races at the Miami GP. According to the President’s Instagram account it was a special moment to hear the playing of the Dominican Republic’s national anthem for the first time in a motorsports event of this level.

Jimmy Llibre has become one of the leading young talents from the Dominican Republic. Llibre has quickly risen to fame following the sweeping of two races of the Porsche Sprint Challenge on the series’ biggest stage during the support race of the Formula One Miami Grand Prix.
